I am Shanaws Mahamud, a product designer with a strong UI/UX background derived from solid academic bases—Business Administration from National University Bangladesh and specialized expertise in User Experience Principles and Processes at the University of Michigan. Feels like the last 7 years have been a journey deeply passionate about crafting—this time, not just crafting the visual appeal but diving deep into the depth of functionality and user-centric digital solutions. Most recently, at the core of my career, was GoWalk Inc., an iOS app development firm based out of Cupertino, where I spearheaded initiatives focusing on user experience enhancements in light of a global audience. Here, I led the end-to-end redesign of our flagship app, which realized milestones of a 40% reduction in bounce rate and 15% more lead generation within it. To do so, I balanced constant reflection upon the users' feedback with the development of innovative strategies in design for increased usability and constant engagement with the application. To this date, through my professional career, I have made practice of my skills in over 25 world companies, helping more than 180 clients with the realization of their digital vision. This is an experience that would sharpen your skills in research, prototyping, design, and collaboration with tools from Figma to Google Analytics to bring ideas to life.
